Project Poetry Live! Final Performance

Project Poetry Live!
has now affected a generation of students. Founded in 1995, PPL brings professional poets, artists, musicians, and dancers into five Connecticut school districts to work with 1,100 middle and high school students every year.  See the culmination of this year-round project on Friday, June 4th where students will dance, play in the jazz band, display their murals, have their poetry read and their art displayed.  Then enjoy a professional performance by the Matthew Westerby Company, who has been teaching our students for weeks prior to this performance.

PPL receives support from the Connecticut State Department of Education Interdistrict Cooperative Grants Program, Connecticut Commission on Culture and Tourism, George A and Grace L Long Foundation, First Congregational Church of Waterbury Lucy Edwina Schlegel Fund, LPA Members and others.

Tickets will be available in advance by calling 860-361-6285, and at the door for the final performance at 7:30 pm on Friday, June 4, 2010. Tickets: $15, General Admission, $5, Children 12 and under.
