It’s HERE! Spring Spirits Auction Catalog Revealed

Our Spring Fundraiser is drawing near and we are excited to reveal the fantastic experiences and items you can get!

Spring Spirits is a Cocktail Party/Auction at Litchfield Distillery on Saturday, April 28.  The evening will feature award-wining spirits (courtesy of Litchfield Distillery), delicious hors d’oeuvres, live jazz music, a silent auction, and a brief live auction hosted by NPR’s John Dankosky.  Check out some of the exciting items and experiences in the auction and get your tickets before they are all gone!

 Dave Brubeck was an outstanding jazz pianist and a wonderful person. He performed into his 91st year and died in 2012. His record, Time Out, was one of the top-selling albums of all time. It featured his signature tune, Take Five, composed by Quartet member and musical collaborator, Paul Desmond. Dave ended nearly every concert with this iconic tune.
Dave was a friend of Litchfield Performing Arts, appeared on the Litchfield Jazz Festival many times and was a great fan of Litchfield Jazz Camp.

 S6. Vandoren Wine Basket

Not widely available in the US, take home and stock up on some of this fine French Reserve wine! Bernard Van Doren, owner of Vandoren Paris (and long-time sponsor of Litchfield Jazz Camp and Festival) also owns a small boutique winery in the south of France. The vineyard is 100 years old, and has been in the Vandoren family for generations.

 Mike Gow, founder of New England Arts and Entertainment and our Litchfield Jazz Festival MC, is single-handedly responsible for making live jazz available in Western CT across the seasons. Trumpeter Dave Ballou is a long-time teaching artist at Litchfield Jazz Camp and has appeared often at the Festival.
